LA Sparks logoThe Los Angeles Sparks are a womens's professionial basketball team. They were founded in 1997 before that year's season.
The Sparks are playing in the Western Conference in the WNBA. The teams colors are teal, purple, and gold. The games are held at the Staples Center in L.A.

Within the fourteen years, the Sparks have qualified for the playoffs eleven times. They have won two championships and three conference titles. In 2001, 2002, and 2003, the Sparks went to the WNBA Finals. Beating Charolottoe and New York in 2001 and 2002, the Sparks lost to Detroit in 2003.
